Welcome to A.o.R.O.S.B.!

We've lived like the rest of society, just mostly on 2 wheels. Behind the so called rough exterior, most of us were and still are hard working and family oriented. Although most of us that are left were born in the 40's, 50's, 60's and 70's (alot of the ol'timers have moved on although we do still have a few that are older than dirt) have lived through the greatest era of the bikers world and are looking to maintain that with this new generation of bikers. Most rode Harley because that was the bike of choice back in the day. Never the less, we want to pass on the "Old School Ways" to the younger riders that choose this way of life. The knowledge, skills, respect and brotherhood that comes with being an OldSchool Biker applies to all (bikers) no matter where you come from or what you ride.

About Us

About US

About Us

image

Our main goal is to make sure this "code and respect" remains and lives on for generations to come!

We've seen it all (well most of it anyway). Rides, Rally's, Events and the Women along the way. You name it, the old days were the best. Some were rowdy as hell and most you'll never forget. Soon after the origination of the biker movement, motorcycle riders sadly earned an extremely negative reputation, but don't let the few ruin it for the many. Being an OldSchool biker comes though a philosophy that defines a riders’ life, their values, and priorities.

Integrity, Honor, Respect, and Brotherhood. Some say Loyality, but if your look'in for Loyalty, get a Dog cause in the end that's where most loyalty stands... Either way, a Bikers philosophy is based on these principles adopted around the wolf pack. OldSchool Bikers have formed a (code), the reputation and morals that has guided our community throughout some of the toughest times we've had to endure. Some of us just seem to be born with it and it comes naturally, while others have had a few hard knocks along the way to learn it. Although as life goes and you get into the Golden Years, friends and brothers are fewer and far between, But the Integrity, Honor and Respect we have for one another remains intact.

Biker Myth

When we hear the word "Biker", we picture a big tough looking guy with a black leather jacket and a body full of tattoos with an angry look on his face. Though a biker can be totally different in reality. The "biker" world has changed since the early days of it's conception so don't believe everything you hear.

  • Bikers Are All Criminals: Although Biker clubs can be territorial they are not necessarily always involved in criminal activities. There's are only a few instances where we come across reports about rivalries among bikers.
  • Bikers Are Mean & Rude: If you've interacted with a biker and found them to rude, they're probably having a bad day. In fact, most Bikers will step up more than any other organization for someone in need of help.
  • Bikers Have a Lot of Tattoos: Getting tattooed is a personal choice. Not everyone's interested in getting their skin inked permanently. It is definitely not a criterion to become a biker.
  • Bikers Roam Around in Gangs: Bikers prefer the word "Club" even though they appear to look like a gang, but some of them prefer traveling alone and refer to themselves as "Lone Wolves' and do not like to be constrained by group/club rules.
  • Bikers Don't Have a Day Job: People who hold a passion for biking live pretty normal lives. Most come from decent backgrounds, have jobs or run their own business to support their families, travel and event rides.

The Bottom Line is: You've heard the term "Don't judge a book by it's cover" so if you get the chance, get to know a biker or two.

You won't regret it!

Gett'in Old

Some of us were born and raised into a biker family while others became swept up into the biker lifestyle. Never the less, it's a feeling in your bones your born with, you inherit or it's a calling that pulls you in. No matter the case it won't let you down. As with any lifestyle, a Bikers life is what you make it. It comes with the good and the bad, but feeling the freedom of the open road with nothing around you but time and adventure can bring you the most enjoyable and rewarding experiences in your life.

The friends, the family, the comradery that comes with being part of the biker culture is 2nd to none.

But unfortunally, as well as you all know sooner or later time catches up with all of us. Those of us that have been on a motorcycle most of our life, it can really take a toll on the body. And for us older generation of bikers we can tell you the ride has been well worth it.

Lifestyle

image

Most of the riders we know, not one of them live the "True Biker Lifestyle". Some think they do, they don't. And for the record, we don't either.

People talk about the "Biker lifestyle", but less than 1:100th of a percent ever achieve this. You've heard the term, "Live to ride, ride to live". That sums up a True Bikers Lifestyle. It's about freedom, of the road, to come and go whenever. It's about being a Vagabond on Two-Wheels, traveling when you choose, never staying in one place. Waking up one morning and not knowing where you'll be sleeping the next night. So unless your single with nothing to tie you down you will never be able to achieve this goal.

image

Now don't get us wrong, most of us were and still are Bikers, but our lives are governed and have things that depend on us. Ol'Lady's, Rugrats, a Job or Business, we're tied down. While some think being a group/club member, wearing a patch means living a Biker Lifestyle. That makes you devoted to something other than freedom. Others think rallies, runs and partying means living the lifestyle. That just makes you a partier. The lifestyle is not about socializing, it's about doing your own thing. How many of us are truly able to let everything go, and live up to that creed?
